Over all best farmer in Krachi Nchumuru District 2023

 The Karachi Nchumuru District Assembly awarded twelve (12) persons including eleven (11) farmers and one (1) fisher on the occasion of the 39th edition of NationalFarmer’s Day, which fell on Friday, December 1, 2023, commemorated on Grubi.

The district's overall Best Farmer’s position was taken by Mr. Nyigne Tadon, a 65 years old farmer from Motoka No.1. He took home as his award;

• 1 motorbike
• 4 bars of key soap
• 2 pairs of field boots
• 4 cutlasses
• 2 knapsack spraying machines.

Nana Okoegye the overall best farmer in 2022, gave his speech to the public and congratulated the new overall best farmer in 2023. 

He advises the young to take part in agriculture, especially in farming.

Speaking to NchumurumediaTV, Mr. Nyigne Tadon "Overall best farmer" gave thanks to Almighty God and also the district assembly, especially to the event organizers and the chives.

He added that he was not surprised to take the winning position as the overall best farmer, because he knew the good work he had done for years. Therefore he can be the best farmer one day and it has come to pass. According to him, he has 4 wives with 22 children which empowered him to work more to be able to take care of them, and as he speaks now some of the children are still schooling.
